They are the prime agents of change. Thus, professionalism in teacher education has been a matter of concern and attention in our country. Teacher education needs continuing guidance, inspiration and strength to rebuild and refashion educational course structures which will be having inherent capabilities, power and Potential to reject its obsolete, and encouraging proactive moves for education in sustainable development.

The efforts of JCMST have contributed in tangible ways to help and promote this much needed slant in our educational programs for teachers and teacher educators in consonance with the vision and mendate of NCTE.
